Big guitar factories are impersonal, with modern computer controlled equipment that is manned by hourly paid employees. They’re not really guitar builders, they’re machine operators. They know how to do a particular operation on a particular part. As a result the mass built guitar doesn’t sound or play as good as a handmade McNulty guitar. I stand behind the quality and workmanship of all my guitars, so, essentially when you buy a McNulty guitar you’re buying me.
